I ordered mine through Borders in December. Of course I get to the store before it opens. They do not get a chance to hold it for me. Avon has preview chapters on their site. It leaves you wanting more. Just like the books.

Mr. Spice or Lynsay, you might want to check on that. Shouldn't it just be one or two?

I admit, I'm weak. I read all four and I am so mad that I have to wait 17 more days to find out the end! However, what I did read was captivating. I was supposed to be washing dishes but now the water is cold! I just couldn't tear myself away *grin*.

I really do wish I had the entire book to read tonight. I think it's going to be tough to sleep. They are saying on the radio that during the night we are supposed to get wind up to 50 miles per hour with the temperature (including the wind chill effect) -20 to -30. Brrr!

The whole chapters are not there.. They cut off sentences. Also the site does that to most books. Tease you to go and buy it so you can read the parts that are missing.

Okay, I read all the excerpts up on Avon's site. New thoughts on Marg. and Julius. (I'll try to word this without spoilers.) When Julius was talking to Christian or someone, he mentioned that C's mother wanted to do something with C when he was born. Then later J is talking to Marg. and he seems to be surprised that JC wasn't her true lifemate, that JC could control her. Let's say that M is C's mom, then JC had to have either been controlling M or else told J that she wanted to do that, either way lying to J, thus building up bad feelings. J says he'd never get over C's mother, I'm thinking he's talking about what he felt was the betrayal (if M is C's mom).

Did you get all that? Oh, hurry up and get here, book! I've got to read this now!!!! I have to find out the answers.

well u know how thare is the whole M is J lifemate and that M is also C's mom i was rereading BMIYC
and in the epilogue it said

I was thinking that JC might have been stronger than even his twin (LUCIEN) and put the wammy on him so he forgot also!
They have said before that sometimes if you do it too many times, names, places, things can bring back the memory!
Plus if you read the back ofthe book (VI) it alludes to the fact that J already knows that M is his lifemate!! Maybe JC wanted her for himself and stole her from him!!! And thats why JC didn't want his family back in England.

I kind of had the same theory. Maybe J and M fell in love and she was going to leave JC. JC found out she was with child threatened to "dispose" of her. Lucian suggested getting rid of the child then doing a council of 3 on her to forget everything.

Remember Lucian is the head of the family. He will protect it at all costs. But I do not think he would kill M. He may have loved his brother, but he saw all his faults.

Maybe JC told L that J "took advantage" of M.
Just to many things to speculate about. Now my mind is going in several directions at once.

I think Lucian would protect his family but he is also an enforcer and he told Lissiana once that he realized that JC should have been "staked and baked".

He may remember something about JC and J and M but I don't know if JC would be strong enough to control Lucian. JC had alot of weakness.

Remember that JC wasn't always an alcoholic. He might have felt incredible guilt over what he was doing to Marguerite. Not enough to give her up obviously. However, he might have been stronger than Lucian when he first made the decision (if he did put the whammy on everyone) but the guilt, the stress of keeping everything to himself, would have done a real number on him and driven him to drink even more to forget.

Cindy...it could be the one thing (besides loosing his family) that through him over. He does love his family, but I think it was the guilt of something that happened that has made him so protective of M.
have you noticed...
it might one reason why he started with the council...he could stay away, but he could watch over them all... (L so complex!)

That is exactly what I was gettig at. JC was very powerful, then something caused him to start drinking...guilt is a very strong emotion its hard enough to live with it when you are human, but imagin trying to live with guilt of something you did, centuries ago!

It ok VICKI!...you can come and stay with me, when the book comes out, that way you can buy and take it back!!hey I wonder what the record is for the most expnsive book ever purchased is ...I bet we be close!

Mr. Spice, its ok, i can go to barnd-n-noble, its just about 20 minutes away! BAM was just 5 minutes thats why i called them first.
