Hello:)

Hello, I should start this by apologizing. I didn't introduce my self before, I am new to the posts as well. I saw others introducing themselves so I thought I probably should too. I kinda just butted in and put my 2 cents in on some of the other threads. I couldn't help myself your subjects were really interesting.

But like I said I'm new and I live in Pennsylvania and fell in love with Lynsay Sands stories by accident. I came across Bite Me if You Can in the grocery story. It looked interesting and I never read a paranormal romance before. I was hooked after the first chapter. It was one of the first books I ever read that I laughed out loud too. And as everyone knows once you read one of the Argeneau series you have to read them all. So now I am going through her historicals as well and she is one my favorite authors.

I look forward to interacting more on the forums and I wanted to thank everyone for being really nice and answering all my questions.

Re: Hello:)

Jill

Welcome to the forum. Next you never have to apologize here. I posted before introducing myself also. The first book I read was Love Bites. My husband brought it home from work for me to read. Was hooked ever since. had to go and buy my own copies.

Feel free to ask questions. We have a great time here. Did you sign up[ for the newsletter? If not go to http://www.lynsaysands.net/joinmailinglist.html

Re: Hello:)

Hi Jill and welcome to the forum.

They're a strange but likeable bunch round these parts and I'm sure you'll have a lot of fun.

Re: Hello:)

Hi Jill!

I started reading Lynsay's books the exact same way. I ran across Bite Me If You Can at Kroger one night when I was in dire need of some entertainment, and boy did I ever get that! I ended up staying up the entire night until I finished the book because it was SOOOOO good! So of course the day I got my next paycheck I ran to the bookstore and got the entire series so I could read them in order, which I've done quite a few times since then while waiting for the next release lol.

Lanie =)

Re: Hello:)

Hi Jill!

As most are probably aware by now I haven't read any of the Argeneau series yet but I am working on getting some. I found one of Lynsay's historicals at a flea market and have been looking for more since. Once I start one I just can't put it down.

Re: Hello:)

Hello, Jill, and welcome to the forum!

This is a favorite spot for those of us addicted to Argeneaus. We have so much fun here.

Hmmm...the grocery store must be a good place to find the great A books. I have found them twice at the local Kroger. I've also found Lynsay's historicals on the release date at Kroger.

My older son & I have always wanted to visit Pennsylvania. It looks to be such a pretty area and we have both read books or seen movies with the setting in PA.

Jump in and have fun with us here!

Re: Hello:)

Does anyone get their groceries from the book store?

Re: Hello:)

Hi Jill.
I don't think I even did introduce myself before I jumped right in. I started reading the Argeneaus After I finished read some vampire book way back when. I went to B&N look for another and found Love Bite and SWV.(They were the only ones out then.) And I was hooked and I had to wait for TDH to come out that summer. That was my b-day gift to myself too.

Also Wren, PA is a beautiful I'm originally From Erie PA and moved to Co back in 1990 and only been back to Pa 3 times. I miss it. Someday I will make it back with my children so they can see were mom is from. But my son (Who is 9 almost 10) says he doesn't want to because that is were the vampires are. When he told me that I just looked at him and then said "NO, what you mean Transylvania not Pennsylvanian." And because I read a lot of vampire books so I do get that a lot from work too.

Re: Hello:)

Mr. Spice,

Ha-ha, I've bought tea at the bookstore. Does that count? It was a brand I had never seen at the grocery store.

Re: Hello:)

Re: Hello:)

Hello Jill and everyone else on these happy forums My name is Gabrielle and I have just joined I read some of the forums and seen how awesome everyone was and how nice! It is rare to find so many people just as kind in one place but um...my name is Gabrielle and I live in New Jersey were the weather is as unpredictable as life itself. Oh and I love penncilvania. My Dad's whole family resides there so I use to go alot then my parents split up and now whenever I see my dad we usually plan to see my grandmother and cousins I have there. Oh and I am 17. I stumbled upon A Bite to Remember when looking for a book for summerschool. Before that I wasn't much for reading and just started reading Mangas(Asian Comics) because crazy people at my school told me they were awesome. I was always into Vampires and werewolves and random supernatural things eversince I was five watching anime cartoons and still do but I am jumping off subject but I found A Bite to Remember and thought I would give it a whirl for the book I would read for summerschool my freshman year and I fell in love with the book, Characters, and the way of writing and when I found out there was more I went crazy trying to find more and now I have every Book up to Date! and read three historical romances because they are hard to find. I also got a bunch of my friends hooked as well and we are anxiously awaiting the next book. I also buy books for my friends because it is hard not to, I love sharing the magic

Re: Hello:)

Gena,

Is it near Philly? If it is I think I am north of Coatsville. I think thats about 2 hrs drive for me. I live about 1/2 hr northeast of Allentown, PA.

Welcome Gabrielle. Just as an FYI if you are looking for more Lynsay's historicals, I found a lot of them on Amazon.com.

Re: Hello:)

Ahh, Mr. Spice, if I could get my groceries from the book store, I would never have any reason to leave. It is hard enough for anyone to get me out of a bookstore as it is, and I always check the book aisle in the grocery just in case. No sense going in a store and missing out on any books!

wren...who welcomes all our newbies to this fantastic forum...you have come to the right place Just jump in and enjoy!

Re: Hello:)

wren

I guess I have it fairly easy. I do shopping at Wal-Mart. Clothes, food, Rx, movies, books, even gas.
I love Wal-Mart. It may be a little further than the local Food Lion, but it equals in the price. They always have a few of Lynsay's books there.

And welcome SmileyCentral.comto all newbies.

Re: Hello:)

Hey Mr Spice......... do I get my groceries from a bookstore???????????
Does Starbucks count.
I CAN survive on them. SmileyCentral.com
SmileyCentral.com two of my favorite things Book stores and Coffee shops! B&N has Starbucks and Borders has thier cafe'.

Re: Hello:)

MMMMMM...... Linda I love Borders cafe. I always invariably get my favorite drink (chocolate of course) and a newly aquired book and sit and read. Too bad I have to go almost an hour to get to a Borders otherwise I would probably live there.

Re: Hello:)

c1.....I know what you mean aboutwalmart!
you can find everything you need!! in one place, I like it better than malls!!!

its better they only have a small collections of books,if they had more..... I just might live their!

Re: Hello:)

Nya! I love walmart the one near me just remodled over the summer and began to get food so now my mom and I take at least three hours in walmart. Plus I work at mcdonalds so when she drives me to work she picks stuff up. If Walmart counted as a book store then yes if starbucks in barnes and noble counts then yupperoonies! If not what do mean by groceries and books unless you mean it in the way of books are food for the brain the downfall to walmart when I order lynsay's books early from barnes and noble I get it the day it comes out if I want to wait 9 times out of 10 walmart will have it cheeper but later. I usually get more then one when going to walmart cheep equals more money to get and share I love walmart. I love the excert in the back of Vampires are forever and the first chapter of vampire interrupted on lynsay's website.(Nya! is a cat noise equal to meow only difference is it is the japanese way of saying meow teh heh )

Re: Hello:)

I'd live in B&N if I could, or even borders for that matter. Nothing better than a latte and a great story. I try to stay out of the bookstores unless its to just run in a grab the new release i've been awaiting lol I tend to get lost in them and it could be hours before I am found again.

Re: Hello:)

I second that, Lanie Belle!

I have been known to be in Barnes & Noble for hours!
My dh goes to the newspaper/magazine section, or settles in somewhere with a book until he & our younger son demand equal time in Best Buy. Older ds and I could just live in the bookstore...and have food delivered

I could literally live in the bookstore but I gotta tell you Wren I also have an affinity for best buy (love cds) and now where I live the have both stores side by side. So many decisions so little time.

Re: Hello:)

i SO KNOW WHAT YOU MEAN....
I go to Barns-n-Noble for my mommy time! We have a new one that just opend about 15 minutes dive from me. my record was 3 hours....I am usually one of the people you sitting on the floor in front of the section of books I am there to read...trying to decide which one I want....
the other cool thing, is that it opend a STARBUCKS inside it....so that gives me at least another hour in there alone....to have a coffee and a snack. (ITS LIKE DISNEYWORLD FOR ME!!)
