Lynsay,
I will understand if you can't say/ or just don't know yet.....but I have ask:
Are we going to see a book specifically about,(or will it be part of another)of Victor getting reunitied with Vincent. It was mentioned inTHE ACCIDENTAL VAMPIRE, but I have to know. As stubbern as they both can be,I really want to see how that works out after so long.
I think something like this would be perfect for a short story. I could Vincent opening his front door and shocked to see Victor maybe even fainting. I love those crazy Argeneaus.
Cindy, Either a family reunion, Wedding or Birth would give him a reason to go see him.It would be so much funnier if he just showed up,unanounced and expected to say with Vincent. Then like (ANDREA- I really hope I got the name right?? i am bad with names) said: Vincent opens the door, and Victor just hugs him, and {[tell me what you thik]} then he kisses him on the cheek and with a big smile says" My boy! Its been way to long!" THEN Vicent FAINTS!
OOOH-OOOOH-OOOH!
LYNSAY what if, Victor wants to reunite with Vincent and Vincent desides to take his new family to reunite with Victor and both end up at each others house at the same time!!
G. who gets way to excited sometimes over crazy things, and really needs to get a life, so she will stop trying to write lynsyas' plot for her!!! sorry!
connie, thats the point!
big bad Victor, no one has seen in who knows how long, unless they are in serious trouble, shows up at the door step of Vincent's house! The son that knows his father well enough, to stay away!!!!
Victor has his woman by his side, and has a big goofy grin on his face, and hugs him!! ( keep in mind, he hasn't probly ever hugged his son!!) at least not in centries!!
but everyone has their own opinion....thats the point to this forum, to speak out our opinions, right!!!
I think Victor and Vincent both need to have children at the same time, even to the point of having their wives deliver on the same day. And of course, telling the other about the expected baby is a reason to search each other out.
I could kind of see Vincent "pouting" a little about Victor finally reaching out to him after so long and having just found his lifemate, and Jackie having to knock some sense in him. ***SPOILER ALERT ~ ABTR*** After all, Vincent was being sabotaged and Jackie was endangered because of Victor's actions on a council assignment, and Victor didn't even know his son or soon-to-be daughter-in-law was in danger.
In the same way, Victor might feel misunderstood now that he is reaching out to Vincent, and his lifemate may have to knock some sense in him. Being one of the oldest immortals and having lost his first lifemate in devastating circumstances hasn't made him one of the easiest people to communicate with. (It seems that most of the oldest immortals don't feel the need to explain themselves, kwim? I'm not sure Vincent knows why his father estranged himself from him.)
I'm sure Lynsay could weave pouting son & uptight council enforcer father and their miscommuications easily into a funny side story in one of the upcoming books while their respective lifemates try to get them to get over it! Can't you just see these two vamps finally going on a hunt for their dinner together?
What if Victor is visiting with someone else in town...Elvi and Jackie both go into labor, end up at the same hospital, The men are sent out of the room...in to different halls ( or something) and when the nurse comes back to get Mr. Argenaeu ( Vincent ends up with Elvi and Victor ends up with Jackie...
G. 1/3 of P3 trying to write for Lynsay again! SORRY!!

That's been done before. It's called Father of the Bride part II.
I thought that sounded familiar. They probably will end up having kids around the same time, though. But then again maybe not. Both Jackie and Vincent were going to start doing PI work together weren't they? So maybe that would cause them to hold off. I could see Victor and Elvi starting a family right away though.
I love the movie Father of the bride and part II, but the babies being born is part of the story, the main idea is about VICTOR AND VINCENT! mostly what happens when they first see each other after centries of separation.
PS_> I thought i gave props for the "expantion" on the quotes, I guess I didn't give enough huh!!!
G. Part of P3, but who didn't mean to ruffle any feathers, I just like to expand on others ideas thats all!
Well, now you know I've never seen Father of the Bride II. But there shouldn't be a problem just because a scene has something in common with another story. Everything else is so totally different and I'm not sure they could sue anyway. If they could we'd get no more carriage scenes, billiard tables, dining tables, .... I'm sure you get my drift.
That's true, Cindy. Victor could have been on an assignment, and I haven't connected anything in any of the books so far that says he knew about what was happening to Vincent. Very good point!
I still think they would be cute being all pouty & misunderstood, though. Of course, any reunion between them will be funny!
Didn't ruffle my feathers Wren! It just didn't seem very original, that's all and I suddenly remembered Steve Martin in Father of the Bride.
I think Vincent and Victor can examine their relationship without babies involved. In fact, they might be too distracting. Perhaps Victor should fix the relationship with the child (children?) he has before he goes off and pro-creates again.
And there's really no need for any of them to rush into having children, is there? There's no biological time limit. And some may choose to not have children at all. Many couples do.
Putting pregnancies and babies into the plots of tv series never seems to work very well and I think lots of babies running around in the vampire stories might be the same. All a matter of taste, of course.
You know, sweet babies have a way of disrupting things...even a thread on a forum...
It may be time for us to put Victor's & Vincent's possible pending fatherhood on hold, until Lynsay's imagination speaks up and tells her what happens.
It's possible we may want to agree to disagree about our opinions on this one,
wren...who is not in on the 'to have babies or not to have babies discussion' and doesn't want to see any fluffy feathers flying...especially since I'm the one with the bird name
and how did we get into a "HEATED DISCUSION" about babies anyway??
It supposed to be about finding funny reasons why Victor and Vincent out of the blue come back into contact.
*****PLOT SPOILER******
at the end of AV Victor says it might be time to pay a visit to my son( sorry about the paraphrasing lynsay!), I just thought trying to find funny reasons would give us something new to talk about!!!
I never dreamed it would cause this much controversy!!
G. who even with all her powers of P3, still can't spell worth a lick, or seem to get along with everyone no matter how hard I try!!!
I think several good ideas were presented by everyone and were funny or awkward and could have a lot of potential as a side story...and I certainly hope Victor & Vincent do meet up sometime soon. Sometimes it can be hard to tell on a forum if someone is beginning to heat up or feel bad in the discussion, because it isn't the same as "seeing" and "hearing" each other.
So, since I'm old, bossy, & always right (just ask my younger sisters) we can all agree that I have the best ideas! Oh, I'm really modest too!
Being serious now, we are a Great Group!
wren...who has had a cold day, and my dear husband feels bad because he caught my yucky cold so he went to bed early! and it was for the best because he was being a bit Lucern-ish tonight~grumpy & untalkative & rather unsocialble, kwim? My poor dear sweetheart...
Umm, what heated discussion? I must have missed it 'cause I wasn't feeling any heat from any of the posts, and definitely wasn't generating any myself.
But I sure want to see Victor and Vincent get their reunion. I'd go for a special web-short-story since it wouldn't be fair to steal the focus of another h/h's story.
How 'bout it Lynsay? A special short just for us... like you don't have enough to do writing the stories that have deadlines, LOL
Connie, I am soooo waiting to get into a discussion of Vampires Are Forever. But, I know it would be too easy to give away spoilers! So, I'm going to reread while waiting...
Now sis behave yourself before I have Gena orb me there and freeze you.
I am going to be at Borders at 10 when they open the doors to get my copy. Then the furbaby and I will be reading it. Answer machine is set, cell will be off and will be scarce at the computer until finished.
But feel free to e-mail if you just can not wait. Don't mind. Have seen posts other places about it.
hey just wondering some of u, use stuff like orbing and freazing and i think i saw somthing about P3 are u guys talking about charmed or dose it have something to do with it?
Dear sisters, WE HAVE BEEN GETTING ALONE SO WELL, I DON'T WANT TO VANQUISH ANYONE. I am getting so jittery I also want to talk about the new book. I am so excited I am almost done with Vampires are forever...
***DON"T WORRY NO SPOILERS*** I will not tal about it.
WREN, AE2, I know you have read it,If you want to talk about YUMMY THOMAS, as much as I do feel free to email as well!!
CINDY, don't want to give anyting away, but you will not be disappointed!
Puppylover, yes..its a long standing joke with 3 of us, when discovered we llike charmed "ALMOST" as much as the ARGENAEU family.
I managed to read about fifty pages so far (I usually like to read a book in one big gulp!) and I actually thought about calling in sick or taking a family day so I could finish it. But I didn't. Stoopid conscience!
I'm liking Thomas a lot even though in general, I'm more drawn to the older vampires.
C1, Thank you, dear sis, for not freezing me. I was trying to be good, but you know the middle & younger sisters always seem to get in a bit of "trouble."
I keep having "visions" of how wonderful it would be to get into a discussion of Thomas and his beautiful Inez, but I'm still rereading and trying to be a good angel. G3, if I can't wait any longer, I'll take you up on that offer to email.
But I do have to say that Lynsay has outdone herself with Vampires Are Forever... I never counted Thomas when I listed my favorites because he was Thomas and to me he was special and we all seem to love him. Thomas has to be on all of my lists from now on!
