Re: Vampire Ages...?

PuppyLover,

It is likely that Lynsay may not have all the birthdays for everyone mapped out. Maybe just general notes for her writing to remind her when she needs to look up a character.

Lynsay always tells us the age of the immortals, and on the family tree it shows the year of their birth and their death, as well as how they died.
It does not give specific birthdays, such as month and day. That will only come up if it is relevant to the plot of a book, so you would read it in the story rather than have it posted somewhere. It is difficult enough to have an accurate family tree, especially as a series grows. There is not enough space in the books, and even on the website, only so much can be placed on the family tree section.

Lynsay has said on another post made in the last day or so that she is going to ask Terri, her assistant, to put together a complete family tree for us. She just has not had time to do it. It may take some time for Terri to get it together. Lynsay was just on "vacation" but she was also doing research. As for me, I'd rather she concentrate on writing the next group of books instead of posting birthdays, kwim?

If you have a specific someone you want to know about, perhaps that question could be answered. But it will probably not be possible to get a list of birthdays for all the Argeneaus, Lifemates, Enforcers, and Nottes. Plus, new characters are introduced in all the books.

Just since I have been a part of this forum, Mr. Spice has stepped in as moderator, and Terri has become an assistant so that Lynsay can get the writing of the books completed. She also has to pay attention to her health...read her blog and you will get updates from her on what is going on in her life. A bestselling author only has so much time, and Lynsay gives a lot of her time to her fans...she tries very hard not to lose the personal touch with us.

Just letting you know that question may not be possible to get answered. I realize it would be interesting, but it is not essential for the series for us to have all the birthdates.

Re: Vampire Ages...?

I think it would be great to see how Lissi deals with pregnancy cravings, her story is the only one i've read so far. Finished it all in one day And the fact that Greg still isn't completly adjusted to being a vamp, I would love to see this revisited as I'd love to see other bits revisited after i've read them

Re: Vampire Ages...?

Oops forgot to add, it would be interesting to see her struggle with her cravings if of course she still faints with blood which I thought was hillarious. Unless Greg has cured her of that phobia then she'll have a lot to deal with

Re: Vampire Ages...?

acal....
keep reading the books, all these things are addressed at different times!!

hopethis helps without giving too much away!

Re: Vampire Ages...?

Hey, Pup. We're working on the birthdays for the next revision of the family tree, so watch this space for details.

Vlad was the wannabe and DJ was the enforcer who accompanied Victor.

Re: Vampire Ages...?

amen.. wren and dave.

Pup, they are absolutely right. vlad was the poser kid, the other guy was the psycho stalker guy with the stake and they wiped his mind with a 3-way.

lynsay your books are wonderful and i have re read all of the argeanus books in the last week, simply because i have nothing new to read... :(

thank you for all of your hard work.

Re: Vampire Ages...?

Lynsay, if no on has said it in a while...
thanks for the forum! it is so cool to actually ask questions directly to the author (and of course you DAVE)and actually get a responce and not a "THANKS FOR WITING! automated letter) It makes reading your books more fun when you know some inside information!

thanks, G3

Re: Vampire Ages...?

Thanks Gena, My bookstore didn't have the others I got lucky on the first one it was their only copy. I just finished reading Accidental Vampire it was another great book.

Re: Vampire Ages...?

Puppylover, Christian's birthday is in Vampire, Interrupted. It's 1491 and Mortimer is over 800 years old. I can't get more specific at the moment. I will soon though, we're still working out the archive problem and family tree business, but we're also way behind on a bunch of other stuff.

I'm busy with finishing off these rewrites and getting back to the due story (Deadlines come first, unfortunately, because they're contracted and I don't wanna be sued!! Besides, pub dates depend on them) And then there's a ton of emails I have to get to. (ANY READERS OUT THERE WAITING ON A REPLY TO AN EMAIL PLEASE BE PATIENT, I PROMISE I will ANSWER, IT JUST TAKES TIME) Terri and Dave are jumping in and doing what they can, but . . . cripes, did I really use to do all this stuff myself? It's keeping three of us hopping. Mind you it's all kinda grown a bit.

Anyway, I'll get everything done as quick as I can. Really.

Lynsay, who is three hours ahead of the west coast where Bravenet is based so when you read this and it says it's nearly two A.M. that's not here. For me it's really 4:54 and I am just going to bed. I need to clone me, Mr. Spice and Tori for a couple weeks to catch us all up.

Re: Vampire Ages...?

Lynsay, wish I could help! We do appreciate all that you and the SASS team do for us.

You were the first author that I ever emailed, and I got a response back quickly. This was just before Vincent's book came out...so it's been awhile. Even my dh was impressed that it wasn't an automated reply.
I was wowed the other day to see you mention my fairy page that I sent to you on another thread...I don't know how you remember everything and try to do so much.

As for Dave & Terri joining you in moderating the forum, answering questions, doing the newsletter, and just being there for us...well, they have been such a sweet blessing. The three of you make it seem like we are all part of a family here...

Re: Vampire Ages...?

I agree Lynsay.

You do an awesome job. This forum is a delight to be on. Hearing from yourself, Dave and Terri is a bonus. Either by e-mail or on here.

We understand about your deadlines. Without them we would not be able to have your great books. When we do not hear from you for a while we know you are busy trying to satisfy our reading fix.

This is for you and all you do for us.SmileyCentral.com
