Escape from Reality

I am one of the unlucky ones being in England I have not got the new book yet but soon!

I have to say I love lynsays books as they are so far from reality with the vampires but so close with the romantic side of things infact they may have warped me into believing that someone is going to swoop in and save me but no no-one will I just end up with blokes who like to mess me around and flirt with other girls, so I love the books which are just a such a release and a fantastic pick me up and I cant wait for the next to cheer me up.

Jeez that was a bit of a rant I do apologise!

xx

Re: Escape from Reality

Hey tinkerbelle,

When is your book supposed to get there? Is the British version a little different, or the same as the U.S. version?

Re: Escape from Reality

Hey Tink, Hang in there everyone has someone, ( boy that sounds like a bad 80's song dont it!)

But I know what you mean, the vamps seem so real, its like you could go to NY and try to find the blood bank!

By the way.....where are you from in England, I lived in "Kingston Upon Themes"...just outside London for about 2 years when I was younger.....Just curious

Re: Escape from Reality

Thanks you guys! I live in Lincolnshire in England lovely place very flat though but beautiful.

I dont think the book differs from the US one looks the same but mine wont be here for another 2-3 weeks! Boo hoo!

I am sure these vampires must be real I suggest a trip to NY to find them! Although they are all very happy and settled so boo hoo on that account too! Lol

Re: Escape from Reality

ps-> I am not familliar with that area...where is it in relation to London?

Re: Escape from Reality

Yeah hadnt thought about that! Thats a good thought!

I am a complaining so and so I do have a boyfriend who is lovely think I was just having a down day.

Lincolnshire is North of London about 2 hours away!

Re: Escape from Reality

The southern parts of Ontario, here in Canada, always remind me of Lincolnshire - endless plains of flat farm land as far as the eye can see.

I'm originally from further north in the UK - the rolling Pennine hills - the dramatic landscape that inspired the Bronte sisters and Wuthering Heights and all that.

Re: Escape from Reality

i didn't go north except to drive through to scotland, its amasing the difference in landscape if you just drove an hour or 2.

hey don't worry, i am married, and I still have those days! can't blame a girl for dreaming!!

Re: Escape from Reality

Thanks for that!

Lincolnshire is quite beautiful that you can just seen for miles on a clear day love the pennines but when I get back I just feel all at home.

I am true country bumpkin! xx
