Another year draws to a close

Well Certainly i've had quite the adventure as im now living on my own during the close of 07

Cant seem to think up a resolution for the year to come though...

I know im getting married to the man i brought with me to the book signing back in the summer... dont know if Lynsay remembers though. Im sure she met a lot of people that day

I suppose im just wondering... what sort of things do you all make resolutions for? maybe i'll get an idea from it

Re: Another year draws to a close

Congratulations on your upcoming marriage. This year I plan to go on and stick to my Special-K diet. Need to loose 10-20 pounds. Being an immortal would come in handy in this case also. My husband thinks I look fine, but it will make me feel better. Also now that my step-daughter has gone to live with her mother in another state I can get our apartment straightened up and kept that way. And of course read Lynsay's Argeneau series.

Re: Another year draws to a close

Of course I remember you Circe. I also recall my confusion when you first said your name because I'd always thought it was prounced like purse but with a soft c like an s and didn't recognize the proper pronunciation, lol.

I also recall that your fella seemed very attentive of you. His eyes didn't leave you once. I hope the two of you are very happy together hon. Hugs

Lynsay (who is an idiot when it comes to names)

Re: Another year draws to a close

LOL, Lynsay, my dh cannot remember names. He will know who the person is...whether from work, church, or some other place...but if he doesn't introduce me, I know he can't think of the name to go with the face.

So, to help him out when I'm with him, I just say, "Hello, I'm Renee, E.G.'s other half" and the person usually introduces themselves and we all smile and E.G. is all apologetic...and it works.

Ahhh, after 21 years, you just learn to live with each other's little quirks and it makes life so much easier.

Also, Circe, I was pronouncing your name the same way as Lynsay. So now we both know how to say it!

Renee

Re: Another year draws to a close

Okay, now I'm curious. How do you pronounce your name, Circe? I've always said "SEER-say".
