My store that usually doesn't have things out until a few days After release date had Accidental Vampire out already!!!! Yep, I picked up an early Christmas copy for myself, just couldn't wait until the release date. Know what I'm going to start reading tonight?

Just out of interest, which retailer was it and in which city?

Ack, I don't want to get them in trouble because they are usually VERY good about not having the books out early, but it was a Wal-Mart in Tulsa. I was shocked to see it even though I was hoping it would be out, because I'm not going to be able to get back up there until several days after Christmas. That's why I didn't wait to pick it up. Normally, when I see them out early I'll wait until the release week. But I just couldn't this time.

BTW, I'm half-way through and LOVING IT!!!

I found it too at a little book store in my home town.

I bought it but I don't actually think I will be getting around to reading it before the actual date of release. I would not want to get the book shop in trouble. Especially since it is a little Mom and Pop Joint

Finished it and I can't decide if its my favorite to date. I LOVED it! So much fun. But no spoilers until you've all had a chance to read it. Can hardly wait for next month!

I soooooooo didnt have your luck....... Not that I didnt try. I even begged... Freaking Wallyworld didnt even have it. I tried 6. And everybook store in every mall that my sister dragged me to.

I didn't find it either, Linda. I looked as we did the last minute shopping on Christmas Eve. However, my little bookstore manager caught me while I was in the store, and let me know she was still waiting for it, and had not forgotten about me. She said, "Some other vampire books have come in, but not that one."

I just laughed and said, "Nope, It has to be That One!

If it doesn't come in this week, I'll get her to order it for me. They are a small store affiliated with the Books-A-Million chain, and I need it for the newsletter contest & crossword before Jan. 15th

We just finally finished wrapping up Santa for my boys! We have a tiny tree & our stockings up, and we've had to forgo a few traditions this year because of the circumstances of my friend's fatal car accident, but that's okay. Life is good, and 12yo boys still bring excitement to Christmas!

My sweet dear husband ordered The Accidental Vampire for me for Christmas, and gave me a gift card to get them all! The order form was in my stocking, and it will be here Jan. 2nd!! Now, that is LOVE!!

Borders in Augusta, GA has it in. But will not put it out until the release date. "We don't want to get into trouble with the publisher." That bites. So I have to wait until tomorrow to get it. At least I have it reserved so I am sure to get it.

I just got it today at Barns and Noble in Colorado Springs, CO. I will be stating it tonight at work and I can't wait.

Just got it today at Borders. They tried to tell me I had already picked it up. Glad I knew what the cover looked like. Went looking for it and saw a dolly with books on it. Spied some Blue and stared pulling it out from the middle of the stack. Will be busy tonight reading and answering contest questions.

I'm bummed. None of the stores I visited today had it. I was SO looking forward to reading tonight too. Poo.

Okay, I started thumbing through it to check my answers for the contest and just couldn't do it. I had to RE-READ THE WHOLE THING!! That's the first time I've ever read a book twice in a row.

I got mine early as well. I found it in Wal_mart on the 21st. I had it finished before Christmas. I have to say it was a great present.
