Truthfully, Jill...a part of me never grew up. That is why I majored in Elementary Education. I loved the Language Arts and History subjects while I was growing up and still do...Gypsy wants me to write, but I don't know what to write about. Dh and several irl friends want me to also.

Gypsy writes and draws very well herself...I have a drawing contest that I want her to enter. She tends to write fantasy romance...with fairies, angels, etc...and her drawings are of fairies and things like that. I either write non-fiction for my homeschool group, or I've written a couple of things that are regency historical era stuff. With homeschooling, I don't have time for the research...but this is the season of life for my kids!

Doing creative writing or poems and things with kids is a lot of fun...helping them learn to express themselves...although I really want to be Ms. Lottie when I grow up LOL...she is our local beloved children's librarian, who also majored in Elementary Education but has been at the library now for 25 years. We are close to the same age so I'm teasing her when I tell her I want to be her when I grow up. In the past, she has had me do the Mardi Gras preschool storytime, since we grew up where Mardi Gras is very big...between Mobile AL and New Orleans LA. I have an idea for a preschool children's Mardi Gras book because it has always been hard to find one for the storytimes...maybe Gypsy could help with the illustrations. She helps with the little ditties we write on here, btw.

Who knows, maybe it helps to be bipolar. In general, we tend to be very creative...especially when we are stable, which means staying on your treatment plan (meds and counseling)...or that's what my doctor tells us, and he specializes in mood disorders. It also means not caring what people "think" so much anymore...at one time I worried about that but now, well you are one that knows me well on the forum.

my brother and i use to do all kinds of sneeky stuff we got along for the most part its alot better now that we are older nd dont live together he hang out all the time! I love my baby brother!
