Re: brat

Thanks Spoiled. I have fun with all my books, so hope readers will too. If I'm not having fun, I stop it and start another. There's no sense beating a dead horse....or...er...something like that. LOL

Re: brat

I read this book over the miserable rainy back holiday weekend and it really cheered me up was a great book and made me feel so much better. Thanks Lynsay. x

Re: brat

I always have fun with Lynsays books. Her Hysterical Historicals.. are my favorite:) Great books to read if you feel the least bit depressed. I probably will be getting them out again...I have been fighting with Earthlink again over continuing problems with my DSL...it's becoming a bit depressing since all I have is dialup for now and it is downloading at 26.5Kbps That line used to download at 48. but for some reason it has dropped. I am paying for two lines and still not getting what I am paying for...Boy I really do need to read some of Lynsay's books:)

Re: brat

Re: brat

Well after over a year of chatting with EL support..and banging my head against my desk with frustration caused by outsourcing to idiots that don't have a clue(do I sound bitter)....it was decided I have a bad modem...they sent me a new one two weeks ago and it hasn't gone off line once.
I tell you if I could find an ISP that does American support I would quit EL in a heartbeat...:)
Color Me Happy:)

Re: brat

Just on a whim I did a google search using "ISP American support" and came up with at least one place. Their website is www.turbousa.com

Standard is $9.95 a month and includes:
Fast, reliable Internet connection
E-mail account included
Spam Protection included
100% American company
Toll-free support (located in USA!)
No outsourcing American jobs!
30-day Money-Back Guarantee

Accelerated is $14.95 a month and includes:
Fast, reliable Internet connection
Surf up to 5 times faster!
Up to 5 e-mail accounts included
Pop-up blocker & spam protection
Toll-free support (located in USA!)
30-day Money-Back Guarantee
Special: Only $9.95 for first month

There are probably others but that was the first one that I saw. If you start having problems again, at least you know there are options!

Re: brat

Thanks Kimberly...sounds like it might be only dial-up though. I'll keep an eye on them maybe they will go to Broadband as their business builds up. Hope we see more ISP's out there that does this.

Re: brat

The Brat just shows that Lynsay is as consistantly as good a writer of wonderful historicals as she is of vampire romance. Even if historical isn't usually your thing, all of Lynsay's have her same great sense of humor in them.

When I read The Brat, I was laughing so hard in places that I could barely catch my breath. I bought it in a Kroger grocery store when I spotted it on the day it came out, and I read it straight through that night. It's time for a re-read to pick up any funny or sweet moments I might have missed by reading so fast.

Great story! Wren
