Irritated...

Certainly, this can be taken as nothng more than a rant but if i dont it will be constantly floating about my head giving me no peace.

I finally got around to finishing Bite Me If You Can and took the notice that whoever decided they had to leave their filth mark on Lynsay's book took the kind moment to have the real title ON THE BACK. When i finally located the portion of the book to which Lynsay's title was founded I became even moreso frustrated at this arrogance to shift about her work.

The entire background of Leigh and the rift between her and Lucien was basied on that phrase.

I would honestly like to place a moral and buisness proposal towards the empty skull that couldn't meet their job quota and had to make it look like they were putting in an effort.

Firstly it was Lynsay's story. She should have had every right to have the title as it was.

Secondly, maybe im speeking only for myself but im quite sure that none of us think this cutesy little "Bite" pattern they're trying to make is at all amusing. it's making her titles lame if not childish. We on the forum look past it knowing Lynsay is not the mind behind these titles, but others who do not hear it from her could think they are hers and it's running into the pattern a bit late as the first 3 books (they couldn't touch) had two titles without "Bite" in them. In this idea that perhaps Lynsay has lost her ability to be creative they would not indulge themselves to read further. People do judge a story by the title and certainly these "bite" titles are loosing the feel for the story.

It's very inconsiderate to the rest of the works in this series (that did not begin in this "bite" pattern), the author, and i should like very much for these new publishers to not tamper with what was already brilliant and unnessary to change.

*sigh* ok, im done. Unless im able to write to the editor or whoever is behind it then i might aswell stop complaining.

To finish off on a good note, i loved the story as usuall and have definately concluded that I favor Lucian over any of the others he's so cool

Re: Irritated...

The good news is they're keeping the title The Accidental Vampire. That's something. (grin)
