Going blind....

Hey Lynsay, have you heard any more about putting your books on audio, especially the Argeneau's. Mom has a blood vessel in one eye that's hemmoraging near the center of vision and is slowly going more or less blind in one eye. That combined with bad eye-sight to begin with is making it more and more difficult for her to enjoy one of the things she loves most, READING! When Love Bites, TD&H, and SWV first came out she could read the books with little problem, but now she's becoming more and more dependent on Audio books for her "reading enjoyment". Can you put a bug in your editor/publisher/whosever ear about putting your books on an audio format....mind sending me the information so I can do the same?

Thanks for your help!

Re: Going blind....

Sorry guys, bumpin' me up.

Re: Going blind....

I too love to listen to books on tape or cd. Usually while I am crocheting or weaving a basket.

Thank you Lynsay! Mom thanks you too!!!!

Re: Going blind....

Okie dokie, I wrote my editor telling her about your comment and question, one I've gotten from others, and here is her response.

I’ll bring this up with the powers that be, but frankly there hasn’t been a big enough market for audio when it comes to mass market books. We’re working on bringing every single of our titles to ebook format, however, so that’s good news you can pass on.

As for writing in…if they go to www.HarperCollins.com, down below is the link to “Help” – which will bring you to another screen. There, to the left, it gives you the opportunity to write to a specific department. I’d suggest HarperAudio.

So get writing to HarperAudio Theresa and anyone else who is interested in Audio books. They might just listen and put some tapes out.
