I may be the only one, but does anyone else listen to music while reading these books (or reading in general)?
I absolutely love to listen to the new Phantom of the Opera soundtrack while reading about the Argeneau family. Or sometimes Evanescence. Anyone else?

I love listening to music while reading but what music all depends on my mood, not the book. for the most part though, I'll just listen to my favorite rock songs. But I think that Evanessence would be perfect to listent to while reading the argeneau series.

I listen to anything while reading. I kinda like Simon and Garfunkel, Cat Stevens, Queen, David Ryan Harris, Jamie Cullum, Gavin Degraw, Joey Degraw, Jason Mraz, Hanson, etc.

well, i have some problems with reading and music being in the same general area considering im pretty auditory. If i listen to music it'll either be classical, techno, or enya. Something without words. But if it does happen to contain words i'll play it on repeat and make sure it's already a song im familiar with. I like the noise but not really to pay attention to it. Not while reading.

It doesn't matter if I listen to music or not...I get so involved in the story I block everything out...has caused a few arguments. My husband now knows if I am reading and he wants to ask me something he is to tap me on the shoulder...:)

When I read, I hear nothing also..lol. I was banned from reading in school, because I would never hear the bell or the teacher telling me when I was suspose to stop. That was a while ago, and it hasn't got better.
The boyfriend knows better then to tap me on the sholder, scares the poop out of me. So the family just yells 6 or 7 times untill I hear them calling.

Hmmm somethings soothing Like Evanscense or HIM, or I'll pop in a slow country tune if I'm in the mood to read and listen to music.
