And the crickets....

They are a singing!!!!

The forum's been a little quiet over the last few days. (Like I should complain, I dropped off the earth for almost 3 months!) Lets see what we can do to get folks chatting again.

What are the good fans of Lynsay, and Lynsay herself, doing this summer?

Re: And the crickets....

Ugh. Working, lol. I have two books due August 1st, so have been trying to write those around taking Dave to the hospital for emergency dental work and lugging the wood from the walnut tree they cut down. I won't have a free moment until August, then it's my cousin's wedding and the family picnic, held at our house since it has a big deck. Roll on August!

Re: And the crickets....

Roll on August and keep going!!! I'm in no shape, form, or fashion looking foward to August when our temps here are already hitting the mid 90's by noon. It's really horrable.

I do hope you enjoy the wedding and family reunion Lynsay. I always love to spend time with my family and I'm sure you do yours.

Re: And the crickets....

Mid 90's...Puleeze!!! It is supposed to get to 108 degrees F today...with Desert Thunder Storms...I would love to see the 90's again :) My son his wife and my two Granddaughters came visiting the last two weeks...it was really nice...for 5 days they went to Disneyland(my youngest son and his wife gave them the trip as a Christmas gift last Christmas) My son is in the AF and doesn't get paid enough to plan long trips. This was really a treat for us. It was a busy two weeks but we enjoyed it. I'm not cleaning for a month though...it's funny how easy it is to let things slide...especially when you live in the middle of nowhere ...and no one visits unless they call first. Lysay hope you can get your deadlines finished soon so you can enjoy the rest of the summer:)
