New Book

Apart from the two books on your website 'Dates from Hell' and 'Bite to remember' that are due out (not soon enough) I see on amazon that there is another book called 'Love is Blind' can you give us a clue as to what its about as I have searched the web and cant find anything. Thanxs very much.

Re: New Book

Hi Jenny,

Love is Blind is a historical. I wrote it under the title Clumsy Clarissa, but my editor didn't like the title and changed it. It's a regency about a gal with a "scandal" in her past who's step-mother takes away her glasses in a bid to get her married off. But Clarissa is pretty much blind without her spectacles and has all sorts of calamities that gain her the nickname Clumsy Clarissa and have everyone in the ton tittering behind their hands and keeping a safe distance....Until our hero arrives on the scene. He, Adrian, finds her lack of sight something of an advantage and proceeds to woo her, soon realizing that not all her accidents are accidents at all and someone seems to be out to harm the girl.

Here's the back cover blurb

He'd been warned that Lady CLarissa Crambray was dangerous. Stomping on toes and burning piffles, the chestnut-haired beauty was clearly a force with which to be reckoned. But for Adrian Montfort, Earl of Mowbray, veteran of the Napoleonic Wars, this was just the challenge he needed. He could handle one woman and her "unfortunat past." Could any woman handle him?

Lady Clarissa Crambray wanted a husband, but maybe not as much as her stepmother wanted one for her. Really! Doffing her spectacles might make a girl prettier, but how would she see? She'd already caused enough mayhem to earn a rather horrible nickname. Yet, as all other suitors seemed to shy away in terror, there came a man to lead her to the dance floor. A dark, handsome blur of a man. Clumsy Clarissa was about to stumble onto true love.

Hope that helps

Re: New Book

Sorry Anebrd, and thank you Cher. I appreciate your answering for me. I spent the weekend gathering immigration and customs stuff together. I am not the most organized person at the best of times, but with the two moves since January and living out of boxes and suitcases through March until we moved here, all the paperwork had been misplaced and semi-lost. And somehow I got the job of getting it all together....

Hmmm...How is it men can look at us with confusion and say, "Do you know where we put...?" and we women immediately start looking for it for them? At least I do. I mean, he could have searched through every file and box in this house until it turned up in the very last one as easily as I. He could have sorted it, taken it to be photocopied, packaged and labelled it to go.

But nooooo, he asks one simple question and I'm off and running. Pfffft. So, how was everyone else's weekend?

Re: New Book

LOL..Lynsay...I was just thinking the same thing the other day. My son and his wife and their three dogs came to visit Mother's Day Weekend. When they got ready to leave they couldn't find one of the leashes...I said look on one of the hat hooks in the Laundry room...No one could find it...I got up went to the Laundry room and there it was hanging on a hook...My son says'"Oh I thought you said on the dryer"...He is a gifted Chemical Engineer and sometimes ...or most of the time his head is in the clouds ...thinking...LOL..:) When the kids were growing up I always jumped up to find things...I guess wives and Moms have built in radar for lost items..LOL..:)
