Re: "Science" as religion

I dearly love science and view it as discovering piece by piece the beauty and truth of God's creation. I'll take religion and science. I'm sure the two go together harmoniously even if we can't see how all the pieces fit together. Just my opinion. Other can have theirs. I may say their opinion is wrong but I'd use government or the courts to force someone to my way of thinking. It up to each of us.

The great tragedy is we poor schoolbound types are all grouped together in some tangled mass and expected to learn/teach some single philosophy or point of view. The schools claim they are tolerant of all views and teach other viewpoints but that simply isn't true. It's surprising that no country has ever spent as much on education as the US. We spend almost $700B per year and parents still can't choose whether to have their children taught intelligent design, creationism, or something else. Instead some judge decides for you. Americans have no choice!

Re: Judge rules against intelligent design

The judge's ruling is an example of lower court "devolution". The chap is making a monkery of the law. His decision is, perhaps, an example of non-intelligent design? YUK!
