I am trying to figure out exactly what kind of cloths was used most of the characters i know that chainmai and plate armour was used but i need to know if i can use the same colors and fabrics of either the dark ages or early medeval ages that all i want to know?

Most of the available fabrics would include fur, samite, silk, wool, linen, and leather in descending order of expense; the higher on the chain the presence of an available fabric, the higher quality of the materials under it would be ;)
