Hello Jim and company,

I was wondering if there are any plans to create new models for existing A Song of Fire and Ice characters based on the HBO Game of Thrones television series?

The miniatures that are in existence are fantastic - please don't feel that I am saying otherwise. I just wondered if there was any plan to create alternate sculpts that will look more familiar to fans of the HBO series.

Hi there. There are no plans to do another range of minis based on the HBO actors vs. the books. It is something that could be fun, but further on down the road as the book series still has lots of characters to get sculpted up.

I'd say the Hound's helm w/closed visor option and Varys are pretty close matches to their televised counterparts already.

Yepper. Except ours were done first. George gave the HBO folks copies of most (if not all) of our sculpts, so you will see our influence from time to time over the HBO costume designs and overall vibe throughout the series.
