Just wondering if Dark Sword ever considered doing miniatures based on the works of Erol Otus? I know his style is completely different from the artists currently featured by Dark Sword, but he certainly has a faithful following of old school fans.
I am a pure old school AD&D/ D&D guy (did not care for 3rd or 3.5 edition at all) and LOVE Erol Otus stuff. It brings back the memories - no question about it.
The problem is all of his TSR stuff is owned by - TSR.
I imagine his newer stuff is owned by the respsective companies as well.
I was approached by Goodman Games a number of years ago about doing some miniatures based on their modules, but had such a full plate of Elmore, Parkinson, Caldwell and Easley stuff to do that I had to pass ( even though I REALLY Dig Goodman Games classic and their approach to the classic modules). We are still in that same boat and we even now have the GRRM line to do.
