Talk about finishing strong! Wow is about all I can say right now. We saw it on Wed. night on the giant screen in the THX auditorium and the entire movie flew by in the blink of an eye. The only thing I was somewhat down on was the opening sequence with Smeagol. It seemed kind of choppy/not as well done, to me.

I was also disappointed that they did not include the Witch King confrontation with Gandalf that they showed in the trailer. I am sure it will be in the extended edition though.

Peter Jackson has done something that will be quite tough to top for many years.
