*** REPORT FOR HARE N HOUNDS ***

**** TURRIFF LOONS TAK 3 CLASS WINS
@ HIGHLAND HARE N HOUNDS****

Young Fraser Norrie took Top Honours of the day by taking the chequered flag in the Adult Solo Class ahead of Barry Gray of Inverurie after 28 testing laps over the much extended Highland track at Whiteness, third place went to British Champion Quad racer John Mitchell from Stornaway, out for some fitness training in the solo class, oh by the way, he had just Won the hour long Adult Quad race 10 minutes previous to jumping onto his solo yam to compete in the 3 hour solo race, stamina or what ?

Top local riders in the adult solo class were Highland Club Champion Aaron McCarroll of Forres in 3rd place on 26 laps, closely followed by Veteran rider Gavin Johnston of Inverness, also on 26 laps.

CLUB CHAMPION AARON McCARROLL 4TH OVERALL IN THE 3 HOUR ENDURANCE RACE.

The Adult Team race, run in conjunction with the solos saw father and son pairing Duncan and Ruairidh MacArthur from Avoch take top honours with a clear win on 26 laps ahead of Lossiemouth pair, Ian Souter and B Aulder on 24 laps, well done to Wallace Burns (also from Avoch)in third spot,3 laps down, held back by tea mate Dode Fraser of Nairn, out for a Sunday drive.

A special mention must go to our Celebrity Team consisting of Colin McGregor, Bobby Nelson and Kevin Matheson, well done lads, congratulations on finishing the race, must have been quite a steep learning curve for you all ? Good fun though eh ?

Moving onto the Schoolperson Classes, in the 125/250 class it was another Turriff loon who took top spot, Jordan Hayes on his KTM125 on 10 laps ahead of 2nd placed Ross Shaw of Rogart, also on 10 laps.

The big wheeled 85cc class was won by another KTM Turriff loon Duncan Norrie, and a special mention for Duncan as he also took the Overall Win in this race ahead of the 125's and 250's, a star of the future me thinks.

The small wheeled 85cc class saw local riders take the top 2 spots, Ian Findlay or Inverness, the Winner on his Moto1 KTM ahead of Kierran McCarroll of Forres, also KTM mounted.

IAN FINDLAY, INVERNESS.......WINNER OF THE S/W 85CC CLASS

Ben Edwards of Elgin took the Honours in the 65cc class, finishing on the same 10 laps as the big bikes, 2nd spot going to Daniel Dey of Forres on 8 laps, well done to all the riders on the small wheeled machines, as the going was quite tricky in places over the long circuit.

The Adult Quad race was full of well travelled competitors from as far afield as Airdrie to Stornaway, with Islander John Mitchell taking the win ahead of Scottish Champion Leon Beda after an hour long dice for race supremecy. Top Adult Quad Team were Inverness Riders Don MacIver and Murray Elliot finishing on 9 laps.

JOHN MITCHELL FROM STORNAWAY......STORMS TO OVERALL VICTORY

The Senior Schoolpeson Quad class saw Connor Smith from Stevenston take the win ahead of Blair Brown, both Yamaha mounted, whilst in the Junior Class it was Girl Power to the fore with Zoe Neill of Stevenston taking the Overall Win.
