It's with a heavy and broken heart that I write to you tonight.
Jim had what I thought was a good day. This afternoon he talked,
wanted to know what mail we got and even commented about something
on TV. He has only been eating soup, so the girl brought me a dinner
tray that had soup on it also. He ate half of it and I asked him if
he wanted some salad I was eating. He ate some of that and then said
he wanted some chocolate ice cream. They didn't have any in the freezer, so I took him a chocolate pudding and he really enjoyed that.

About one half hour later he told me he felt sick. And then he said he
thought he was going to pass out. The aid came in and said that she would
send in the nurse, she never came in. I knew what was happening. I was
holding his hand and he stopped holding mind, he was having trouble
breathing and the other aid came in. I told her that he could breath,
she came back with medication and I knew that he was leaving me. I
saw the color in his face change. It was so quick, only about ten minutes
and he didn't suffer, he just slipped away. I am so thankful that God
answered my prayer and took him quickly and didn't let him suffer pain.

Jim son that lives in N.C. is on his way down now and will be here in the
morning to help me make plans. His son in Calf. is making arrangements
for a plane out in order to be here quickly. So the boys are going to
be here with me.

I want to thank everyone in the group for their prayers and email. I
found much comfort in the letters of support.

Dearest Elsie & Family, i am so very sorry for your loss, i just lost my sister in May, and it hurts so bad to loose the ones we love so much, but wow, what a new home they are in now, with love, peace and a new very healthy and whole spirit body, thank you Jesus that you have rescued Jim from all this pain and suffering, Lord right now Lord please bring Elsie peace, comfort and Joy, and fill a fresh with a big portion of your healing holy Spirit, in Jesus name we pray amen and amen , here is a beautiful prayer also just 4 you and all you family, i love you all, andw e are praying and will email all my intercessory prayer ministries; please keep us updated on all the Lord will be doing ok,
Father, in the darkness of night You are composing a new song for me that I might sing a hymn of praise. Many will see and fear and put their trust in You. By day You direct Your love, at night Your song is with me – a prayer to You, the God of my life. When my heart is breaking You take up the cadence and blend it with Your song of comfort. In the name of Jesus I thank You for loving me. Amen.
And
Because the Lord is my Shepherd, I have everything I need. True to Your Word, you let me catch my breath and send me in the right direction. Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for You are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me. Your goodness and unfailing kindness shall be with me all of my life, and afterwards I will live with You forever in your home. Amen
