My GG Aunt Ernestine W. (Schultz) Harmer obituary
said she was born 31 Jan 1858 in Shmoneberg, Germany.
Is this a misprint of the town and could you give me an idea of what place it would be. Also have hit a
brick wall trying to find when she and her brother,
Wilhelm Fredrich Schultz b: 06 Jun 1851, came to the US from Germany.

the name you are searching for may be: Schoeneberg (oe is in german a "o" with two points on his top).
There are 8 Schoeneberg in Germany, the most populare is the town near Berlin.
Thanks Martin. Was thinking it was Schoeneberg--just
need the correct spelling. The Schultz's came from
the Prussia area. Haven't found out when or where.
