I'am looking for any information on the Hunstein family. Henry and Elizabeth Hunstein had a daughter,Margaret, who was born in Alsace-Lorraine on Dec.16,1855. Together, Henry and Elizabeth had 8 children. They imigrated to Canada and settled in Carrick Township, Ontario. I am their greatgranddaughter. I would appreciate any help.

I am sorry but I have no information on the Hunstein family. Are you subribed to the Alsace mailing lists, for example at www.rootsweb.com and have you checked with the National Archives in Canada? They do have a website. I don't have the link at hand right now but it's listed on my website. Click on Links and scroll down to Canada.
