After rearrangement from Tracey due to water logged pitches in portsmouth, nomads travelled to overton.
On arrival overton leant us two props (mark and mark) without this we would not of had a game, so many thanks to them. They also let slip that their 2nds had travelled away, so we will be playing the 1st. The match started with what seemed like nomads taking control from the start we were camped in their half but with out scoring. then a a few quick tap penalties ayles went through, converted by Matt or mark. Overton pack then took control with some big forwards and good mauling. They then scored two break away tries. One of which no one knows how they did, a maul in the middle of the park, ball tied in, then the overton player 25m behind nomads down the wing had the ball and crossed the line. Nomads never dropped their heads and played all the game like they started. Roll of honour: Hardman,bond,woods,ed,clarke,graig. woods and ed running ball in hand, clarke defensive work at lineouts, the others all over game play.steve and mark, both providing good ball to the backs from scrappy ball from the forwards. davis and alyes same as normal. Liam in the centre strong running and ripping ball. Alex and blackburn strong running and defensive. but the two stars of the day go to Ash and ollie on the wings, Strong running from both in little space, but with nothing getting round or through them defence was fantastic.
Well done all, a very good and enjoyable game. Nomads7 overton 24 ish
