So said the angel, To the women in red I saw you wander today Past the village into the woods, Yes, replied the maiden, I began walking and When I looked up I was with trees How did I get there She quietly mused to an angel, What did you find there, The angel inquired How odd that you ask Replied the girl I found something so odd So very peculiar That I had to move closer, What was it that you saw Asked the angel So innocently, The maiden paused Thinking her words carefully She began slowly I met my end At the dawn of time, The angel smiled wickedly As she waited for her to continue The maiden oblivious Continued her tale, Until there was nothing to tell With her red red chest, Even darker and deeper than before, She collapsed, Into a malicious angels arms |
