Art...Funny title for a pic: Predetermined enemy
That is very similar to that old recovery saw about expectations being preconcieved resentments. IT really is true that ya need to watch who you fall in love with, cause if ya cant stand certain things about em when you are in love with them, how much worse is it gunna be when you break up, especially if it is a really contentious break up. I have managed to stay friends with all but one lover. REally, he was certifiable and I didnt really give it enough time before I started dating him, so that was my bad, not his. Angus has a great talent for naming his art. I must admit I prefer his more clean and " classic " pics to his kinda freaky stuff, but then I am a Virgo! We prefer structure, usually! Funny, his more classic pics have the weirdest names, whats up with that? Yeah, I know it's not hip or politic to say so, but then again, tuff, thats what I really think. He has a lovely classic hand as well as an unusual experimental hand. There's enough fuzzy crazy shite in the world, we all need a little beauty. It is saved from boredom in that all beauty holds the seeds of corruption, as well as creation. You can recognize the negative, even as you revel in the positive. Guess I'm old fashioned and "lookist" in that attitude. But really, as great of an actor as Angus is, how many of us would be quite as excited by him if he wasnt a total hunk? Thats ok, thats how we are hard wired,so no need to pretend it isnt so. I wondered if he could DO normal art, now I know he can and I really appreciate it. I'd like to see a more classic portrait. It's hard to do, but I bet he could do it, if he wanted to. I'd like to see a real self portrait. Not idealized or in any way freaked out. Just him as he really sees himself. That would be facinating. Just good ole, plain , honest to God real person Angus. He is perfect to me, just the way he is. He doesnt need to worry about people judging him, cause his real fans see more in him than just his face. He does literally great work and has a great quality of soul, he should know that the real fans will always stay. I've been a fan of Anthony Hopkins since I was a child, real fans dont bug off just cause you get a wrinkle. Just shows character. Thanks for letting me have my say. Kat |
