PAINS AT LEFT SIDE OF RIB AND BELOW THE CHEST

I have read through the program for back pain. But I don`t have back pain. I rather have severe abdominal pains sitting at the left side of my chest with pains at the left hand and running through my left thighs. A friend of mine say it is costochondritis. I can`t tell. I have been to the doctors, they have checked everything but found nothing - my heart is alright they said. But the pains had continued for over two years and it comes terribly anytime I stree. Please help me.
sincerely,
Desmond

Re: PAINS AT LEFT SIDE OF RIB AND BELOW THE CHEST

Have you looked in to your "stress levels" and at least tried some deep breathing techniques to lower your anxiety about your current situation...

We were only meant to have stress at 2 minute bursts not for 20 to 40 years straight, Stress is the ultimate killing machine...

One thing you can try is to type in all of the symptoms feel into Google, be very specific about how yo type it in, then make a list of what you find and then present all of what you find to your DR and make them rule out that condition, that will with out question make your DR think more and could give them the spark to come up with a solution...

Just a bit of advice rearly in life will one thing be the solution, even with back pain, that is why we offer so many different solutions, however in life when you can learn to us all of them together synergistily everything starts to work better and in most cases faster...

For example if you, started to do some deep breathing and then improved your diet, would that make your pain go away, propablily not but you would benefit and if you continued with deep breathing and good diet and then added the next logical process or product to the mix you increase your chances that it will be the one thing that get you over the top...

We hear it every day "I have tried everything and nothing seams to work."
Truth is most things help people to some degree but when they fail to get 100% relief they quit what ever it was they were trying and then seek something else to comfort them, we say say do both do all that you can, once you have a better understanding of your situation...

Best advice is to keep looking, the solution is out there...

You have a combo of symptoms. Thigh pain, hand pain and chest pain could be coming from a cervical level spinal cord compression. See a reputable neurologist. Someone will figure it out for you. If nothing else, see an experienced certifies manual therapist. They should be able to help.

Re: PAINS AT LEFT SIDE OF RIB AND BELOW THE CHEST

Thanks Michael and Steven. I have been using the breathing technique and may have to prolong the practice. What about vigorous training? I have just started to train hard even though the pains still maintains. Do you think hard training can be of help or make it worse?
