exercise

Why is it important to do the exercises in a certain sequence? I could do them faster if I did all floor exercises at the same time and all kneeling exercise and so on.

I hope you are not discouraged by the lastest attacks on your company. If this guy had back pain he would know that if you follow your prescription it relieves back pain. If you haven't experienced the problem how can you dispute a rememdy that works for so many people.

Re: exercise

I didn't know about the sequence part, maybe I overlooked that in my reading! But I, too, try to do lump the floor exercises and the standing or even the exericse ball ones together. Who can afford to deal with the literal pain of getting up off the floor each time. Plus, when I am at work, I obviously can't do all the exercises, so I have to pick and choose, I hope this is okay way of doing things.

Re: exercise

Liz, there is no order to the exercises, you can do them as you like...

in fact you can combine the different dysfunctions together...

Re: exercise

There is no order to the exercises??

Can you please explain Steve? Why is this? I was under the impression all this time, that the exercises had to be performed in the order that they were written!!

Re: exercise

Hey Steve,

Why don't the exercises have to be in order then?? Surely there has to be a sequence??? Sequencing of exercises is a major thing in Muscle Balancing...

Re: exercise

Dan, WE do not make it a hard and fast rule for several reasons...

1. not everyone can do all of the exercises
2. not everyone can do all of the stretches

Also in some cases some of the muscle imbalances have similar weak or tight muscle groups so as you go through your exercises you do not need to work one muscle group if one dysfunction and then work the same muscle group for the second dysfunction.

The goal is of course is to work all of the muscle groups for each of the dysfunctions that you find your self to have, without question the High Hip dysfunction is the most challenging dysfunction for most people and is most often the missing link for so many people...

Some people do like to follow the manual in order and if that is easer for you than by all means please continue on that path...

Re: exercise

Folks

Whilst many of these exercises look fine, I would advise people not to just jump in and start doing them.

The LTBP exercises have all been carefully chosen so that if done properly, will not cause any physical harm.

If you want to do any of these exercises, please run them by Steve and Jesse first for those of you on LTBP and by your Physical Therapist for those of you who are not.

Never just dive into any exercises you see on the Internet.

We all have different back problems, and what may be suitable for some may not be for others.

Thanks to the guy who put the posting on, as I'm sure he's just trying to be helpful.

Re: exercise

Just a note.

My last posting is in response to a posting someone put on about a web link to some exercises on the Internet.

That posting has been deleted, so you can ignore may last posting.

Re: exercise

I was just wondering if any of you knew if it is ok to do glute and hamstring exercises at a gym to help with the imbalances. I was thinking of glute kickbacks and lying leg curls and stif leg deads. Also i have ftp and hh syndrome i was wondering if i should take care of the imbalance with hh syndrome before doing the ftp exercises.
