Less Is More Horsemanship Forum
Welcome to the Less Is More Forum. This forum is to post questions, comments, suggestions, ideas, principles, concepts and ideas regarding Natural Horsemanship and more importantly, the philosophy of "Less IS More". This is a place where like-minded people can come to throw away all the old traditional ways of training, and riding, and begin to experience a new FREEDOM in their relationship with their equine partners. Whether your goal is to learn more about natural horsemanship, get support for your own personal Less Is More belief, find solutions for problems that are hindering your relationship, begin a journey of discovery or healing, this is your home. Regardless of what the current "fads" are in traditional circles or natural horsemanship circles, I encourage you to think 'outside the box'. Feel free to post a message.

Bareback pads
Hi everybody, I am looking for a really good bareback pad. Since I can't find a saddle to fit my young horse, all I'll be riding is bareback. I like the looks of the Skito bareback pad and El Companero. What's your favorite pad? |

Hi, I asked this question a few weeks back and ended up getting a Rider's Choice Suede Bareback Pad. I absolutely LOVE it!!!!! It has a great suede top that really helps you stick! And a medical felt underside like the Parelli pad, which allows the horse's skin to breathe. Here is the link to the site I bought it from: http://stores.ebay.com/Riders-Choice-Saddle-Pad-Co_Bareback-Pad_Suede-Natural-Horsemanship-Pad_W0QQcolZ4QQdirZ1QQfsubZ1168668QQftidZ2QQtZkm Also here's a link to a GREAT (unbiased) review about the Rider's Choice Suede Bareack Pad. http://www.horsetackreview.com/review-display/4813.html |

This is my first post so please forgive me if I do somethng wrong, (I know my horse would!) I wandered upon this site and feel like I hit pay dirt... I swear by my Parelli Pad. Sometimes I blanket under it. Sometimes I do not. When starting my two year old, using that with my sticky suede chaps, fifteen rides and I've got quite the happy saddle horse coming along. |

I have a parelli pad that I love and I also have a Little Johns bareback saddle--it is a bareback pad-very cushy with dressage billets and rings for stirrups--It is very secure with a dressage girth and comes with a washable blanket for about 200.00. I use mine with stirrups instead of a saddle. website http://better-horsetack.com/lj/ |
