Less Is More Horsemanship Forum
Welcome to the Less Is More Forum. This forum is to post questions, comments, suggestions, ideas, principles, concepts and ideas regarding Natural Horsemanship and more importantly, the philosophy of "Less IS More". This is a place where like-minded people can come to throw away all the old traditional ways of training, and riding, and begin to experience a new FREEDOM in their relationship with their equine partners. Whether your goal is to learn more about natural horsemanship, get support for your own personal Less Is More belief, find solutions for problems that are hindering your relationship, begin a journey of discovery or healing, this is your home. Regardless of what the current "fads" are in traditional circles or natural horsemanship circles, I encourage you to think 'outside the box'. Feel free to post a message.

Horse trainer

Hi gang! I have a friend who has a beautiful 1/2 percheron 1/2 thourghbred that is about 5 or 6. She took her to a trainer (who a friend suggested) a year or so ago and the trainer was terrible. When she got her back she still could not ride her horse. She lives down south (Spencer area). I have sent her this web sight and she has looked at it but she isn't sure what to do at this point. The horse is Very big but yet very mild mannored. She thinks she would be a good horse but at this point and time can't find someone that is reasonable and someone she can trust. Does anyone know anybody in the Spencer/Freedom area that works with horses at a reasonable price? She is thinking of selling the horse but would really hate to do that since she thinks the horse will be a good one under a good trainer. thanks for reading and hope you can help. Sheila
