Less Is More Horsemanship Forum
Welcome to the Less Is More Forum. This forum is to post questions, comments, suggestions, ideas, principles, concepts and ideas regarding Natural Horsemanship and more importantly, the philosophy of "Less IS More". This is a place where like-minded people can come to throw away all the old traditional ways of training, and riding, and begin to experience a new FREEDOM in their relationship with their equine partners. Whether your goal is to learn more about natural horsemanship, get support for your own personal Less Is More belief, find solutions for problems that are hindering your relationship, begin a journey of discovery or healing, this is your home. Regardless of what the current "fads" are in traditional circles or natural horsemanship circles, I encourage you to think 'outside the box'. Feel free to post a message.

Clinic Dilema...any suggestions???

Hello all,
I will be hosting a clinic with Michael for our area in Edwardsville, on the IL side of the river (only 30 min from St. Louis, 1 hour south of Springfield, IL) It is NOT a question IF this is going to happen, it is a question of WHEN...
Here's the dilema I face...I do not yet have an indoor arena to use in case of rain. I will be getting an indoor on my farm by next year, but that would not help us have a clinic in October. I have contacted every local barn to see if we could rent their indoor, but the typical problems arise...they may need it for their own lessons in case of rain, or the proverbial "we don't want that type of clinic at our facility" even after I invited them to assess it for FREE(I would pick up their expense AND pay them for arena rental) OMG...I didn't realize that our natural way of being was such a threat to these other businesses! So, with this known, does anyone have any suggestions or soultions to getting a clinc in our area in October? If not, I WILL BE hosting one at MY farm in Spring

Hi Mary,
Did you happen to call Triangle H Farm in Edwardsville, IL? It is a natural horsemanship farm also, and they have a cover-all indoor arena. They might be able to work something out with you, since they are natural horsemanship people and host clinics all the time.
Check out their website:

Hope you are able to work something out,

Brittany

Mary...

Let's just keep on schedule for the clinic and work it from there.

I just emailed you a new flyer. Perhaps it will help stor up more interest and maybe one of the barn owners will concede into allowing the clinic there. Remind them that we are only needing it in case of inclement weather.

Please email the flyer to any, and all, horse owners that you know. Feel free to print it out and post it up at your local feed store, TSC, Rural King, etc., etc.

Keep me posted on the progress.

Michael
