Less Is More Horsemanship Forum
Welcome to the Less Is More Forum. This forum is to post questions, comments, suggestions, ideas, principles, concepts and ideas regarding Natural Horsemanship and more importantly, the philosophy of "Less IS More". This is a place where like-minded people can come to throw away all the old traditional ways of training, and riding, and begin to experience a new FREEDOM in their relationship with their equine partners. Whether your goal is to learn more about natural horsemanship, get support for your own personal Less Is More belief, find solutions for problems that are hindering your relationship, begin a journey of discovery or healing, this is your home. Regardless of what the current "fads" are in traditional circles or natural horsemanship circles, I encourage you to think 'outside the box'. Feel free to post a message.

Hondo's videos

Michael, you have always been SUCH an incredible encouragement to me, but your videos with the amazing Hondo have taken that encouragement to a new level. I am quite confident that I speak for all of us when I tell you that I appreciate SO MUCH the time you and Beth are taking to capture all of this journey on tape for the benefit of all of us. I played with my horses yesterday with more enthusiasm and passion than I have in I can't remember when. Can't wait to meet you and Hondo Sept. 22!

Re: Hondo's videos

YES YES YES !!! Thats the whole point of what we do...to inspire and push all of you to be better with your partners.

adn the things is, if I can do it with a wild mustang with little to no trouble, then everyone should be able to do what I am showing with thier own horses. The tasks and goals that i am asking everyone to complete are basic foundational things. These should be able to be accomplished by everyone fairly early in their relationship with the partner.

Things with Hondo havent been EASY, but they certainly haven't been difficult either. The hardest thing that has been a challenge has been foot handling with Hondo. I can ask for a give and he gives, but he is not holding or relaxing for me to hold longer than 2 seconds or so. But he will immediately give it back to me when I ask, so it is just a matter of time. The only thing is that he is in need of hoof care. So we are working diligently on this. I may have to video this one!

I am so glad that all of you are finding a new passion for playing with your horses. This makes my heart glad, it truly does.

Now stop sitting inside posting messages and go kiss your horse!!!! HA HA !!!!

Always Yours In Horsemanship...

Michael
