For the people that don't know about Hedy, she is from a "holistic" bulldog breeder who gave the mother and all the dogs and themselves only CS to drink, no real water. He had problems with a litter and lost all the puppies and mom. The litter Hedy is from lost a little girl I was supposed to get and they came very close to losing another girl. Homeopathy saved the latter. When we got Hedy at 5 1/2 months old she had trouble walking, her back leg kept giving out, that night she had the smelliest diarrhea I have ever had to deal with, that lasted weeks. Our new RV got broken in with Hedy. Then the opaque eyes, poor dog could not see and was walking into walls, it is no surprise to me that her eyes were silver looking. Then the flesh eating bacteria looking thing. A tiny spot on her right neck, about the size of a pencil eraser that looked like an infection that grew in size in a matter of hours, when I called my homeopathic vet in a panic the spot was up to her eye and down her chest, larger than my outstretched hand, it was green, slimy, smelly, and must have itched horribly. My vet got that under control pretty fast, but it took a long while for the fur to grow back. She had bumps that smelled metallic all over her body. Hedy got a snotty nose that was pouring green mucus, this lasted a week or two. My allopathic friend who offered to watch the dogs on the day of the surgery really pushed for antibiotics, I was in a very bad frame of mind, but resisted the allopathic meds and Hedy pulled through just fine. She still gets the opaque eyes, but she can see, what, I am not sure but she finds her ball just fine. Oh, yes the mental retardation, at six months she behaved as a 6 week old puppy would, she could not understand a simple request, "sit" took months. Because of her puppyish ways some dogs played with her and others attacked her, viciously. While I cannot prove that CS did this, and I know that miasms play a key role, I cannot ignore what transpired. The breeder "rescued" one of his dogs and ended up "putting him to sleep" because he was scratching and biting himself bloody. The Breeder used CS on him and it did no good, in fact the dog is dead because he had an allergic reaction. Yeah, no one can tell me how wonderful CS is. |
