The newsletter is online on our site
Thanks to Mark Moe and Rick P. we now have internet access and are able to download our newsletter, for me this is a promising road being built. for the last month I have been scanning documents and newsletters dating back to 1955, yeah that’s a lot of scanning. While we do not have every newsletter ever made I have a substantial collection thanks to Mark and Mike. It is interesting to see the evolution of the club from it's inception as the Bell Aqua Club in 1953 to the current Buffalo Aqua Club today. The photos and events are truly historic; we have a wealth of history that would stand up against any dive club in this country. I hope to share these documents soon with the club, Rick tells me that there is just not enough room on the internet site we currently have to display all of the information currently being compiled, maybe someday but for now at least we will have it preserved in a format that will last for years without deterioration. Please check out the new news letter, it is great looking online and give Rick and Mark a pat on the back for all the hard work they do. |
