Does anyone else have that moment of panic when the plane has landed and the doors have not yet opened? The air supply has switched to auxiliary and everyone stands up ready to get off, but the doors haven't opened. I know rationally that the amount of air in the cabin is still the same as it was before (minus a fraction for expansion of the seats) but it's hard to believe it when the space looks so much fuller of people. Any hints on how to deal with this? I just close my eyes and imagine myself in a rainy forest(!) - sometimes with the help of a portable fan. |
