Well, the day before my wedding there was a few stressful moments. First, it took over an hour to check into our hotel, then my husband went to pick up his tux and the place was closed, then we went to get our marriage license and the place was moved to another location. When we found the place, I was not expecting the mob of chapel workers to bombard us when getting out of out car. Then my mom called me that night and told me that she might not make it because the engine on the plane blew (yeah, that's a story in itself), but she got a flight the next day and made it within an hour of the ceremony. The day of the wedding my husband did get his tux, but they did not have a bow tie for him, so he had to use a regular tie (he still looked handsome). Before the wedding my friend almost made us late; she is just lucky the limo driver was cool and that the chapel didnt have another wedding scheduled right away.

After all that, my wedding was beautiful. I got married at the Shalimar Wedding Chapel, which is part of the Howard Johnson Inn. I got my hair and makeup done by Pampered Brides. I'm sorry but I forget her name but she came to my hotel(Stratosphere)and brought everything she needed. I was so nervous, but she made feel so relaxed. She told me alot of stories about weddings and Vegas. At first I thought I had too much makeup on, but the pictures turned out perfect. I totally loved my hair. She put my veil and tiara in place for me. I dont want to sound conceited, but I looked good, **** GOOD!!
When I got there, we recieved our flowers, my witnesses signed the paper, and then we were ready for pictures. I was ony supposed to get 24 shots on a cd, but I actually got 32. The photographer was great. I also got a dvd, and some extra pictures already printed out.
I loved my wedding day. Shalimar is a great place to be married.
