It's probably the case of demand and supply. Even in the real world out there, pretty young ladies have advantage. Everyday, there are men who fall prey to these women, what more for lesbian world. And for these 'femmes' who smell easy prey among butch lesbians, why not? For sex, it's safer, possibly less violent, soft-hearted, etc..
